so red oak is bad for boat making
I love listening to knowledgeable person speaking intelligently about
something they are truly passionate about.
Is it possible to use it’s porous nature to an advantage, for instance by
using a very non-viscous adhesive of some kind to soak through the wood
then set?
It’s kinda crazy how red oak is one of the worst woods when it comes to
water and white oak is one of the best.
I love that I can watch hours of videos of knowledgeable people talking
about stuff I havent a fucking clue about will never need
I have a sudden realization for my desire to become a shipbuilder.
I have no interest in building a boat but it is always enjoyable to listen
to someone who knows their craft well.
Can you build me a tree house?
Good video! I don’t say that very often. Well shot, well mic’d.
You did it right. Bravo/a.
“I guarantee you I didn’t have any alcohol in my mouth” lol.
so… can we use red oak as a water filter?
I logged into youtube and stumped across this video. I’m releafed to see
someone knows what they are talking about. Now I know knot to use red oak.
This really helped me get to the root of my boat problems. If this
information helps spruce up my boat I willow you one.
He looks like Bill Murray and Willie Nelson had a love child.
